I love Katie L. who has done my hair for 4 plus years. I do think the salon needs some updating. It has looked the same the entire time I have been going there and it looks very tired inside. It needs new colors, updated fixtures, Fresh flowers. Each stylists station is very drab. Add something. Everything is very generic. Hire a designer and add some personality!

I have gone to Salon 117 for about 5 years for facials with Ronella, who is the best I have ever been to. She is European trained and has continued to educate herself with the best in the industry; she really knows her business and uses only the best products and is thorough. However, this is the first time I have gone to the salon and had to hunt for a robe. There were none in any of the lockers, and the slippers were men's sized, (even though I was in the Women's locker room),so I was walking out of them on the way to the facial room.

I just received a facial and overall the facial was average. however I was extremely disappointed at checkout when I learned that my aesthetician had added a $15 charge to the bil. She did this without asking me. When I asked the receptionist why there was a charge added all she could say is " it looks like she did extra something " Last time I received a facial from here I was extremely happy, so i'm definitely bummed out.

My appointment was incorrect as to the service to be provided and no one called me to tell of the error
