Drs. D'Addario and Tonn, and the RMPD staff, are always attentive and helpful, whether it's an emergency or routine appointment! My three kids look forward to their dental check-ups, and often ask, "When do we get to go back to the dentist? Is it soon?"

I didnt appreciate the insistance on putting my daughter "under" in order to fix her cavaties. And once they begin to use scare tactics such as "that cavity is getting close to the nerve so we need to schedule her soon since our schedule is booked two months out. So i got a second opinion. The dentist i got the opinion from had 30 years experience with children and fixed my daughters cavaties without any pain management or tears in about 20 minutes. Im sorry i just dont think its okay to have anestecia as the only optuon for parents of small children to get cavaties fixed. I also am sure that it is just coincidental that one of the dr's husbands is an ped oral surgeon as well. My kid doesnt have movies to watch at her new dentist or get a bag full of fancy goodies every visit either. But thats okay with her and me. Ill take old school experience over putting my kid under any day and frankly 4 yo's love stickers as "prizes"

After much research, I chose this dental practice because of their website. One of the things that they ask is that you do not tell your child that going to the dentist won't hurt, because it will scare them. They also had a very detailed explanation of how they introduce young kids to all of the dental instruments. The administrative staff were very friendly and it was pretty easy to get an appointment. The offices are clean and child-friendly. However, the first thing that happened when we walked into the office was that a woman who did not introduce herself or ask if it was okay to take x-rays, took my very shy 3-year-old daughter, put her in a chair and shoved an xray camera in her face and then said about 5 times, "It won't hurt!" There was none of the explaining that is described on their website. You could tell she was very impatient and annoyed. After that, my daughter wouldn't cooperate much. My son, 1 year, was a bit better, but again, we were not asked if we wanted any of the treatments they offered, and the dentist herself did not look us in the eye once, although she did introduce herself, so a bit better than the assistant. She had a pretty cold bedside manner. This place is probably better for older kids and teens. I was really disappointed.

I paid on time every time. I always showed up on time. My children have manners and listen. What makes me upset is that they tell you one thing and do another. They said watch the tooth and keep an eye on the tooth. I did. They say Dont snack in between meals or drink acidic drinks. They don't. Then we show up for a cleaning and one kids teeth are perfect where my other childs teeth suffer because military housing in a different state didn't have floride. They never told us and my teeth and my spouses teeth were effected by it as well. Then we explained that to the doctor and she just looked at us like she heard this before. Then we show up for my childs medical appoinment where they were going to do dental wok and i get insulted by my Dr.s Nurse Dominika aka Mika. She said that my child needed to learn good Hygen and that she would teach her all about it. I was holding a starbucks cup with a chai tea NOT coffee, and she said that she was shocked that i even drank that or gave it to my child. If it were her should wouldnt allow it. On top of that she also let me know that she didn't even drink stuff with caffine. That was so embarresing for me and my child. Then i paid a 75.00 depoist to hold my appoinment. My child ate a slice of bread because she was nervous about the procedure and they said we can't help you today come back another time. So i showed up on time, I already paid a deposit, They wanted me to pay another deposit and what i owed after the procedure. I don't agree with that. I don't think its fair nor honest of them to do that with their clients. If you haven't cancelled or caused issues and its their doing for you to reschedule they should honor those that honor them. This is probably why many people call and cancel. I however did not. I gave this place a two star out of a five star because of the ladies that work at the front counter. Krystal and Chelsea and Kimberly. They are always friendly and super nice. They have always been exstreamly nice and welcoming. I hope they change their policies to being fair to those that have been fair back.
