Dentistry has changed dramatically in the 36 years that I have had the privilege to work. It has changed from a disease correction based approach to a preventive health approach. The wellness model of ideal dental health has become the standard. It has changed from a fearful "fill in the hole, pull a tooth" when few people enjoyed their visits to a high demand cosmetic mode that people choose to achieve. It has changed from ugly restorations to teeth that look natural when repaired.
However, our PHILOSOPHY OF DENTISTRY has stayed the same. The standard of care is to treat each patient with the care, skill, judgment, and respect that would be given to the most loved member of our family. It is our job to have the knowledge to inform each individual patient of the risk, benefits, and cost of treatment options that will help return them to excellent dental health. The entire staff is dedicated to give each patient the most pleasant experience that he or she can receive while being treated in our office.
Michaelangelo is credited with saying in his advance career, "I am still learning". We promise that we will continue to study the newest ideas, technology, and materials and determine the ones that make the most sense in delivering your dental care. Because the presence of dental disease has recently been documented to contribute to serious medical problems such as heart disease, we believe that the excellent health of your dental complex contributes to an improved quality of life.
