I'm a black woman with curly hair. I came in for a blow dry and trim and the student couldn't not handle my hair. I was told there was no textured hair unit but that they could do any type of hair. She couldn't comb through it and was blow drying it with low heat while it was still tangled. She then began to flat iron the pieces she had dried while the rest of my hair was still damp. No one was supervising and helping her. I had to ask for a manager. At that point Tiffani stepped in and basically took over. I should not have been put in the awkward position of telling the student, Alexis she wasn't doing my hair properly and asking for a manger. I had a event that night and needed my hair to look good. I had to redo it with my flat iron at home. The proper products and techniques were not used for my hair type.

My first experience was above average due to my stylist who was excellent for a student. She was close to graduation and fairly independent. She was self-assured for a student and very kind and caring. While she sought assistance from her supervisors, she was not overly dependent on them. The end result was equivalent or better than the pros that I have encountered. Unfortunately, I've had to compare the subsequent students to her. My second student was close to graduation but was overly dependent on her supervisor. She did not seem ready to go out into the professional world. She did not seem to know how to properly blow dry my hair, as she burned my scalp and did not give me a satisfying style. While working with me she shared too much personal information. The supervisor had to go over the color job by filling in some color. I could not believe that she was weeks away from graduation. On a positive note, she offered to stay late to correct a color mistake by the supervisor. My third visit lasted six hours for 2 services which I thought was an inordinate amount of time for a single process and a half head of highlights. The student was nice, but left me unattended too often without explanation. I understand that Rizzieri School is foremost a place of learning, and I am patience and expect a longer sit time and trial and error situations, but I'm not sure that I can spend six hours here. I was okay with four hours. The supervisors are excellent and make sure that the customers are taken care of. Thanks for that. Please make sure that the students tell their customers each time why their leaving their station.

Melissa was professional, knowledgeable and an amazing stylist for someone just starting out. I love the fact that the instructors check in as well. A client feels valued at Rizzieris.

My facial was amazing, Sheila did a fantastic job. She was very knowledgeable with letting me know how to care for my skin when I leave. I cannot wait to have it done again!

I love coming to rizzieri's school. I always love the way may hair comes out when I am done. I will continue to come to the school for all my hair needs...cuts, color and just a blowout when I have somewhere to go.

I had hair and makeup done and was beyond pleased with both services. I went right home and told my friend who made an appointment the next day and was also pleased. We can't wait to come back to enjoy some additional services......See you soon!........Pat
