I always can count on Dr. Swamy taking excellent care if me. I had to have some pretty extensive work that took a few hours this time and as always, she made certain my comfort was the most important thing. I still am amazed that I don't ever feel an injection from her. And to top it off, she personally called me last night to see how I was doing, not someone from her office. That's how much Dr. Swamy care as.

Jenny is a wonderful dental hygienist. She always does such a thorough cleaning, making certain she checks everything to show Dr. Swamy. Jenny is also so pleasant and caring every time I come in to see her, she is full of smiles and energy. Everyone in the office is that way, too, from the time I check in, to the time I check out to leave.

Dr Swamy is a very caring, kind, gentle dentist. She is highly trained and you can tell she loves her career. I have to share that I am very nervous of injections...you can not even feel the injections. I think of her as not only a dentist, but a artist. After all dentistry is a fine art.

I came here 2 months ago as one of my molars broke on some ciabatta bread :(. Anyway, I ended up needing that tooth extracted, and as I hadn't been to the dentist in 10 years, I needed a lot of work done. I've had a bunch of stuff done since visiting, (3 fillings, 1 root canal/core/crown, the initial surgical extraction, a debridement and cleaning), and my mouth is in better shape than it has been in a very long time.

I can't compare her to other dentists since it's been so long, but one of the best things about Dr. Rashmi, is that she keeps you very informed. It helps a lot to know what is happening, why it's happening, and when something is going to sound bad, but be alright. She also makes sure that you're comfortable and that it's not painful. I should also add that the entire staff at her clinic is great, everyone is kind, helpful and efficient. Some protips since I've gone to the dentist so much recently.

1) Go now, save what you can before you can't save it. One of my molars was quite broken, yet we were able to save it, and that's great because the only other option would have been extraction, and either not having the tooth, or getting a dental implant (which costs considerably more than a root canal/core/crown).

2) Be happy when you go to the dentist, you're taking care of something important and your life will be improved for it, car dance to music on your way to the office, sing a long, and be happy.

3) The tooth colored fillings are amazing, definitely worth it, I like them a lot more than my amalgam, unless you tell someone(which is a weird topic of conversation to strike up), nobody would know your tooth was filled.

4) Don't tongue around your teeth that are being filled, that can be somewhat scary, just wait till it's all over and you'll be fine.

Lastly, you're reading this, that means you need to go to the dentist, and it just so happens that I've informed you of a great dentist in the area, so don't make an excuse, book your appointment now!

Dr. Swamy is so good at letting you know exactly what she's going to do next, how it will feel, and what to expect. The office is also very good at staying on schedule - I was called back right at my scheduled appointment time, and my procedure took exactly one hour, which is what I was quoted. I also love the staff in this office - everyone is so kind, even during my 9-am-on-a-Saturday appointment.

I have recently switched to Dr. Swamy because my previous dentist (of decades) accidentally caused me a great amount of unnecessary pain during flossing related to a sudden gum inflammation. I discussed it but he was insistent that it was necessary, I could not agree, and I was actually depressed over leaving him.

I needed a crown then, but found Dr. S. through a neighbor, and have had not only the crown work done, but three unexpected fillings all with NO pain. I even asked her, after she numbed the first tooth, "When are you going to do the 'prick'?" as I never even felt the needle going in. I was amazed. All the drilling was of course, noisy, but painless, unlike my previous experience. She even uses a block to comfortably support the jaw, a simple trick never used by my previous dentist(s). She obviously is concerned over patient comfort.
