I have been a customer of Dr Anderson for years. I have always had good service and been treated professionally and with respect. I have never had an issue with the cost of my exam. That has all changed since he had become part of insight. The older lady that assisted me after the exam was rude and made me feel like I was beneath her because u wanted to use my old frames (which I puchased through Dr Anderson). The cost of $400 not including frames is a big price to pay. Apparently insight is an eye are provider for the wealthy. Also, I have always been toms is there was a coat foe the exam upfront. Clearly that had changed. I received a bill for $125 saying my insurance didn't cover the exam. I will not be back. I purchased glares from another retailer. Very disappointed.

We are very concerned you were not happy with your time in our office. We are defiantly not a clinic for just the wealthy. We actually have frame and lens options starting around $100. We do everything we can to make your services available to everyone.
We frequently utilize a patient's prior frame and in fact installed an instrument in our office that allows us to cut lenses while you wait so you do not have to be without glasses when the lenses are made. The only concern with using an older frame is that if the frame is no longer made, we are not able replace or get parts for it if something were to happen. So purchasing lenses for it has some risk, we always want to make patients aware of that.
Please call our billing staff if you have a question about your exam charge. We always bill your insurance for you. If they determined a non-payment, your insurance requires us to forward those charges to you. Please let us know if you feel you received a bill incorrectly.

Eye exam was fine.
Glasses did not meet my needs. The person I was interviewed by did not seem interested in my needs. Very frustrating experience.

So glad they are having Saturday hours.
My wife and I had a really good experience.
Dr. Ryan stepped right in where his Dad left off.
Even the staff were very accommodating.
Even thep chocolate chip cookies were good.

Everyone was great they took the time to explain everything in a way even my kids could understand.
My daughter got contacts for the first time they were very patient in teaching her how to put them in. I think you guys are the best and wish it didn't take me so long to find you!
