The care was very good however the prices were a good bit higher than our last vet. It was also very surprising and completely new to me that they take my dog and do the exam and vaccines without me present. How else would I have gotten feedback On how healthy my dog is because I got no print out detailing any information from the wellness exam.

It was a pleasure meeting you and your 2 furry boys, Mario and Valvano. Thank you for taking time out of your busy day to leave us a comment. Client feedback is very important to us so that we can address any issues that may interfere with us providing the best service we can. We usually take large dogs to our treatment area where we have a lift table for them and more room to work. We always ask our clients if they would like to be with their pets for their exam. If they choose to be present, they are ushered into the treatment area. If they choose to stay in the exam room, the doctor always talks with the owner before and after their examination. We operate an open hospital and offer every client the option to come to the treatment room during examination with the doctor. On this particular day, Valvano and Mario were receiving technician services as well as their examinations and were taken to the treatment room to have their nail trims done, which you declined wanting to be present for. After the technician's duties were completed on Valvano, you and your family were welcomed to the treatment room for the rest of Mario and Valvano's services. The doctor did examine both Mario and Valvano with you and your son present and explained their exam findings. We hope this addresses your above concerns.

My little mouse, Howard, was dieing. I was away from my vet and didn't know what to do. I went to Pfafftown Animal Hospital and they were wonderful.......to me and to Howard. They saved his life. I love animals but Howard and his brother Frank were given to me 2 days earlier by my daughter for my birthday. They were a gift of love and Howard is happily playing w Frank because of the great folks at Pfafftown Veterinary Hospital!

I thought kistys exam was good however the vet assistant restraining kisty he was a young boy and he was not holding kisty properly he was not protecting kistys back side when kisty was moving while Dr livengood was looking at kistys eye the vet assistant was not protecting kisty and kisty was getting to close to the edge of the table and I was afraid kisty was going to go over the table and the that vet assistant needs more hands on training with holding cats and protecting them. And not be so rough with cats. Being to rough on cats can hurt them.

Dr. Riz, Vinnie, Jessica, Lindy and Meghan are absolutely the best. They are caring, kind and listen. I feel like I am part of the family! I can not say enough about the excellent care that my dog receives.
