Dr. Mich and Maria both provided thoughtful insights to Casey's treatment. He is not their usual patient as he is a competitive dog with a prolonged injury that we hopefully now have under control.

I am very happy with the service that OrthoPets provides. My corgi has shown remarkable improvement since he has been wearing his custom made brace for the congenital deformity of his left read leg.

I admit I was skeptical about a prosthetic for my dog Cooper when I took him to OrthoPets in 2006. He is missing his right hind paw a little below the hock. I am amazed at the job Martin did making Cooper's prosthetic. Cooper has had it for 7 years now! I just took him in again for a 'retread'.
Dr Mich and the staff were very thorough in Cooper's exam and refurbish. I recommend OrthoPets highly. Cooper is a Siberian Husky and I know his life would be dramatically different without the ability to walk on 'all fours'. Cooper and I are very grateful.

I am so glad my family found OrthoPets. This is the short story of Izzy the Cat. One day Izzy and Duke were playing in the yard. Something terrible happened and Izzy did not come home when called for dinner. Her brother Duke looked very concerned. The next day a neighbor dog found Izzy and the pound was called. Izzy had been adopted from this pound four years before with Duke when they were kittens. Izzy needed surgery to save her life but we could not save her tail or her leg. Izzy now lives with a custom made leg from OrthoPets - it is in blue and slides right over her missing hind left leg. Izzy and Duke now stay indoors but they chase each other around the house. Izzy is doing great thanks to the great work of SAGE animal hospital and OrthoPets. We are going to order her another leg as a back-up... maybe in pink.

MY dog has learned to walk extretely well with the prosthetic despite being an old dog.
Earl lost his left front paw to a trap when he was a pup and managed very well on 3 legs until arthritis set in, we decided to try OrtoPets for the prosthetic as it was recommended to us by our vet.
We are very pleased with the prosthetic and his progress and he loves to go walkies now.
We have been able to reduce his pain medications due to less pressure on his legs since getting the prosthetic.

When my somewhat older dog, Fozzie, ruptured her ACL and my vet recommended surgery I was desperate for another option. It would have made her absolutely miserable to be unable to even walk much for however many months the recovery period required. I felt the combo of her depression and no exercise would be a deadly blow to her. I did of research and contacted many places like OrthoPets in the SW region, but only felt confident of OrthoPets' good intentions and quality. Long story short (I asked a zillion questions), I brought Fozzie in and got her fitted and a couple weeks later put the brace on her for the first time. Her leg was too weak to bend it so I went through a month of walking her up and down the neighbor's stairs until she could walk normally. Now, her muscles have become so strong that they support her knee quite well even when she isn't wearing the brace. I've recommended OrthoPets to people I meet while out walking Fozzie (they always comment on her brace) and will continue to do so. I truly feel that getting this brace saved the life of my Fozziebear.

We have two Karelian Bear dogs and both blew their knees, we had 1 of our little girls fixed, a year later they both blew them. They healed pretty well, but our boy was bigger and needed the support. Our vet recommended Ortho Pets. What an amazing brace!! I think he actually likes it :) didn't take him any time at all to get used to it and he walks normal, can run and do all that he wants. I know if it wasn't for the brace, he wouldn't be doing as good as he is. It provides the support and stability he needs. Well worth getting one of these!!
