Dr. Shaffer is an amazing chiropractor! He doesn't solely readjust your body to treat the immediate symptoms (no matter what you have!); he uses a variety of methods to help your body in the long run showing that he cares about his patients! I recommend everybody see him for any spinal and/or injury issues. He also helps with weight management. Only drawback is he's a Steelers fan, but I've let that go and based on my personal experience, I guarantee after the first or second sessions you will quickly see how helpful he is to you.

I wanted to Thank Dr. Taheri for her great work on my lower back. Suffering from a lower back pain and pain traveling down my legs I was not able to sit down in my office for more than 20 minutes! After getting treated by Dr. Taheri for about one month, now I can sit down for longer time period with no pain ! I do my stretches everyday that she he walked me through and had me down with her and I am now in a good shape! Thank you again and I highly recommend her to others suffering from what i had been for years!!!

The sign in process was horrible. The computer system for patient sign in was placed at such an angle that it actually made my back worse in the 20min it took to fill out the inventory. The doctor I saw cut me off several times and generally seemed disinterested in my entire case. The 1st treatment was uncomfortable, and caused escalating pain the remainder of the day. The next day I had a mildly swollen neck and inflamed SI joint. Clearly, I am not returning...

I am sorry to hear this patient had a bad experience. I will say that our computer system is very thorough because we attempt to make sure we are able to produce an accurate diagnosis and follow up plan. I wish the patient had expressed to us that the computer kiosk was giving them problems because we could have skipped that process and I would have finished the history face to face. I would hope that any new patient would look at the majority of our patients who are overjoyed with the level of service and commitment we display for our patients. I hope that this patient is able to find a doctor to help them.

Dr. Shaffer not only meets your needs from a therapy standpoint, but is concerned about your overall well-being and provides a variety of services to insure to your quality of life is greatly improved by the treatments he uses.

My first visit was great. I can already see that Dr. Schaffer provides more services than my former chiropractor of two years. My pain was so much better when I left his office. The Dr./staff was very helpful, polite and professional (eventhough I was stressed) they helped change my mood). I look forward to future visits (now that I can find the office). I don't look forward to the drive and traffic, I live in Maryland, however I'm sure it's all worth it. No pain/no gain :) The reviews helpd me choose this office so thanks to all.

I was having back pain for more than 6 years - i had already been to orthopedic surgeon, physical therapy, another chiropractor, but nothing that was sustainable. I went to Dr.Schaffer after reading reviews and never built up any hopes to start with - as I already have had my share of past experiences.
I really liked Dr.Schaffer's 360 degree approach - stimulation, tissue work, adjustment, and most importantly rehab excersises! He teaches you how to build core strenght that will eventually help you fight back pain. The real test of it came last weekend after 8 weeks of sessions, when i had to do lot of rigorous work for 2 days. If it was same me before 2 months, i would have been crawling because of back pain in 2 hours. This time I was literally surprised that i was able to make through 2 days of work with little to no pain in lower back.
I wanted to write review after all my sessions were done to see how i did at the end of it, but last weekend work was testimony in itself.
Thank you Dr.Schaffer! I will definitely recommend him to anyone with lower back pain.

I can turn over in bed without waking up in pain, garden, bend at the waist, vacuum. No pain pills needed. Great care.

After having months of dealing with Carpal Tunnel of my wrist and not being able to work on my computer , After few treatments now I am able to work with NO pain . I can move my hands and type with no numbness. Thank you Dr. Taheri , you made a great difference . Banu
