Dr. Shaffer is great.
I had surgery on my Achilles tendon and tried several physical therapists for post-surgery recovery. I kept switching because they did a terrible job. One did more talking than therapy and another was too busy with other patients to do anything other than show me a simple stretching exercise, run off, and then shout at me from across the room to do more repetitions. I had almost given up on physical therapy but decided to give Dr. Shaffer a try.
Dr. Shaffer did a great job. He used a lot of different techniques both to increase my mobility and reduce my pain, and I felt well cared for. I got off of my crutches and out of my walking boot, and my Achilles tendon has never felt better.
I've seen Dr. Shaffer for other injuries since then, including a lower back injury and accompanying nerve dysfunction that was causing urinary retention. The chiropractic portion of the treatment was a bit nerve-wracking at first, but I got used to it and was ecstatic at the relief it provided.
Dr. Shaffer is very knowledgeable and works hard to help. His office is tidy, he takes time to answer my (sometimes stupid) questions, and I have never had to wait to be seen. I would highly recommend him for both physical therapy and chiropractic care.

Dr Farhid is very nice but sometimes forgets what my treatment plan is or skipping a usual therapy ie Electric stimulation, the previous chiropractor always massaged my knots and Dr Farid never does massage

I find that the treatment that my husband and I received at NOVA Spine & Injury Center is excellent.
This is the one and only time that I had the doctor and the physical therapist work with us on using
exercises to improve our posture and strengthen our core. I highly recommend this practice to

I have been going to Dr. Shaffer off and on over the past two years. I have gone to a number of Chiropractors and I have never had results like Dr. Shaffer.
His technique has been nothing but remarkable. No, nothing happens overnight however after a few visits my back, hip and neck issues were gone.
I highly recommend him to anyone who has back issues. I have my younger daughter who plays sports going to him when she has back issues. Same results.

Dr. Shaffer is an amzing and very knowledgable doctor as well as a great person. He makes you laugh as you are in worst of pain! He has fixed my lower back, mid back and most recently aching neck. I have been in other offices before and have never received the same caliber of treatment. I highly recommend Dr. Shaffer.

Dr. Shaffer successfully helped my right shoulder/neck pain. After 3 weeks of work on it, I am now back swimming and playing tennis. Yea!

I would highly recommend Dr. Shaffer. He uses a variety of techniques to help you recover and to strengthen muscles to help avoid re-injury. The office staff is helpful and friendly.
