We brought our (9 year old female) dog in for a regular check up and vaccinations after losing our other (10 year old male) dog the night before. Her appointment was already planned so we kept it. The staff had received notification from Port City Animal Hospital already when we arrived and we’re so kind. They took extra time to ask and listen about our other dog and gave some advice to help our confused girl adjust and manage the loss of her bestie that she’s never lived without. We chose MVAC when we moved here 2 years ago because I got a kind and caring vibe from them even during Covid with curbside restrictions and they proved once again in spades that we made the right choice. Animal doctors and nurses are some special kinds of people and MVAC has some wonderful people who care for our furry family members.
