I have been a patient for several years and am a physician myself, so I regard myself as picky in a semi-knowledgeable way. After having less than stellar refractions from opthalmologists, I decided to go to Golden Triangle Optometric (GTO)on the advice of some fellow physicians and neighbors. Dr. Bende is wonderful; she takes her time, is thorough, and answers all your questions. Best of all, my contacts and glasses are great! I am on a medication that requires ongoing surveillance of my eyes, and I feel confident they are being screened carefully. I started bringing my mom here when she moved to San Diego. I would highly recommend GTO.
