Overall, very good experience. My hair looks great. I would like though to have my hair color and cut done altogether - not at separate times. I just cant spare 3 hours at the salon...thanks.

Gino always listens to me as I try to tell him how I want my hair to look. He then adds his opinion and always comes up with a great, easy-to-care-for hair cut. He is very courteous,friendly, & cuts with precision.
As usual Gino provides great service, attention and a great professial cut. Sad, though, to see the shop so empty on a Friday afternoon and that Gino only had 2 clients for the whole day! I have recommended Gino to 2 other coworkers who now see him as well.
There is always a wait, regardless of the time of appointment, I find. For no apparent reason, and they do not call to advise they are running late.
I also do not like how they do not price any of their merchandise - from t-shirts, to hair accessories, to hair products - nothing is priced, therefore, I have never purchased anything.
As usual other than Gino,Josephine, and whitney I felt like everyone else was unprofessional. When I called to make my appointment I said I needed a color highlight and cut. I was told to come in at 2. Gino was never told and someone else booked a hair cut for him at 2as well. I had to wait 45 minutes to be told I had to come back and could only get half of my services that day. As usual gino did a fabulous job on my hair and Whitney took the time to scrub my scalp and massage my head from a headache from being in the chair. I have been over charged double booked and had appointments rearranged so many times. The customer service by others is just rude. Customers should be welcomed, offered a beverage, and treated with a smile in a high end salon. Disappointment doesn't even describe how I feel. Its disheartening to see a woman run business continue a stereotype of cattyness and attitude.
I love Marzena! She does an amazing job every time she cuts my hair. I am however always disappointed by the atmosphere of the salon. It's always loud and gossipy in the salon. I find quiet more spa like salons to be a better value for the high prices that The Gatsby charges. I only continue going to The Gatsby because of Marzena. I would give her 5 stars!
