The good Folks at Family Tire always take such good care of me. Honest about what my car needs. Fair in their pricing. Efficient and courteous in their service. And the rocking chairs are the most comfortable waiting room seats in town.

I have had service there several times. In the latest episode, I had a very slow loss of tire pressure that I could not figure out alone. The mechanic put the vehicle on the rack and determined that the inner portion of the wheel had been damaged and the bead was not completely sealing. All of this cost me only $12. Even though they could not fix the problem (a new specific wheel is required), everyone was very helpful and friendly.

I have had Family Tire perform all of my vehicle maintenance and repairs for the 5+ years that I have been in the New Bern area. However, besides the inspection and oil change that I needed performed this trip, I asked that a leak on the head gasket be checked. This was written up on the work order. When I was called to the desk to pick up my truck, I asked what the service tech said about the leak. The clerk said there were no comments so he apparently didn't look at it. Then, "Thank you and have a good day." Not what I expected from Family Tire. I will continue to go there because of EXCELLANT service in the past, but disappointed with this trip.
