I feel that there are very few vets in Florida that have enough training and know how to treat Ferrets. I hate how expensive West End Animal Hospital has become. My recent visit was actually more than what I paid at Chadwell Animal Hospital in Emmington MD. I was told Adrenal surgery is $800 at West End currently, Chadwell charged $600 but that was a couple years ago I don't know what they charge now. I hate paying these prices but at least I know my fuzzies are getting the best care I can get where I live. I have faith that if they need surgery Doctor Cottrell is one of the best vet surgeons in the country for ferrets.

Everyone was so nice and professional. All care and instructions given wonderfully. Even the late night call when Gracie wasn't doing well, I think she was hypoglycemic and I gave her honey, was fine when I got her to the emergency vet, of course. But the doctor on call was great. I would definately recommend West End Animal Hospital to my friends and already have. Thank you for such great care!

When Ruby, our 5 y.o. pit mix, started showing some behavioral issues, we were concerned & scheduled an appointment to discuss options with Dr. Cottrell. After a thorough exam & discussion, as well as x-rays, we are much more comfortable that Ruby's issues can be resolved. The vets at WEAH never make you feel pressured into hasty decisions & take the time to explain treatment options, as well as price estimates. You owe it to your pets to give WEAH a try!

My 5 lb Chichuahua had to have her teeth cleaned , and several extractions yesterday. I was worried about anesthesia with her being so tiny, but she did great. Very Professional.

We have always received excellent service for our animal family from West End. The Dr's and staff are highly qualified and go above and beyond to make sure that our animals are well taken care of.

An excellent team of vets. I have been going to West End since I moved to Gainsville two years ago and have never been disappointed. They are caring, compassionate, and talk with you about your pet.
