I had to have emergency surgery for my dear friend and companion, Luna, and they went the extra mile to take care of her. My cat is also my friend and more. I think they realized that and consoled me and kept me up to date on everything that happened from before surgery and afterwards, when the doctor called me and let me know everything went well and then the next day early to keep me up to date on her and let me know when I could pick her up. This is by far the best experience I have ever had at a veterinary hospital. I will always be thankful that they took such good care of my Luna.
A great big Thank You to Dr. Welch and all his staff, you ladies are wonderful! Thank you for letting me know how the surgery went afterwards, thank you for being available for me to call at any time day or night, thank you for the morning call to let me know how my little Lady Luna was doing and when I could pick her up.
Luna was purring with pleasure when I picked her up. You folks treated her like the little fur person she is!
Stayton Veterinary Hospital is the Mayo Clinic for my beautiful black cat. They went so much farther than the extra mile, the only way I can ever repay that kindness is to always recommend them to anyone who needs care for their fur family members. And Luna will always come to you for her medical needs.

Twice I was in rooms and they were dirty from last pets. Staff are not friendly at all and forgetful of items I needed taken care of my pet. They give you information in the waiting area to fill out when they should be giving it to you in your room. Pet weights should not be taken out in waiting area where other pets are so your pet will not settle down. Every staff person and every vet that met my puppy seemed to never been around a puppy before that gets excited. I hope you fix your staff problems and train them better.

From the first phone call to check out I was treated with respect. The receptionist was wonderful in helping me get an appointment that day. The vet, Dr. Welsh answered all my questions and listened to me when I had concerns regarding medications and herding breeds. The Tech was wonderful in taking good care of Vevo when he didn't want to go with her to get weighed and temperature taken. When checking out the receptionist did a great job and even offered to call an old vet to get records transferred when I asked about switching vets.
