I scheduled an appointment with a master stylist 2+ weeks in advance and it was my first time visiting this salon. The last haircut I had was at a different salon and I had a very poor experience with an uneven cut so I was really nervous and hoping to be taken good care of. I wasnt seen until 30 min after my appointment time which was disappointing and made me even more uneasy from the start. And then when the stylist did finally come to greet me she seemed very distracted and uninterested in my experience. I didnt feel like she was listening during the little consultation prior to my haircut and that was obvious when she ended up cutting my hair differently than originally agreed upon. I asked her to even out layers in the back of my head and she suggested adding face framing layers - I said OK but asked her not to go shorter than like the middle of my neck for layer length. She cut the front so short that I now have a side bang which she actually joked about when she was all finished, like oh and now you have a side bang we didnt anticipate! I didnt really notice how drastic it was until I got home and washed/styled my hair for myself. Im really unhappy with that. Hair will grow back, but I also asked for something specific and if she found halfway through my cut that she did need to go shorter for some reason I feel like this should have been proactively communicated to me. She was also rough with the comb and with how she handled my hair. When she was combing hair over the front of my face, she did it so roughly that I actually had red streaks on my face from the teeth of the comb! I wasnt happy with the service she provided and I definitely wasnt comfortable during the whole experience, but I did enjoy the overall atmosphere and cleanliness of the salon which is why Im giving an average rating. Also, the stylist did spend a good 2 hours with me and it seems like the cut all in all is decent, its just not what I asked for or what I was expecting. Ive felt more comfortable with less experienced stylists at different local salons who were very gentle and careful and listened to me. I think I would try Salon Dulay again, but I think I will book a different stylist.

Love coming to your salon. Everyone is so customer orintated.
I feel there is a problem with what and how I was charged but since I left on a trip the afternoon I had my hair done I will stop in the salon when I get home to try and get it straightened out.

I was greeted with such a friendly smile and from the minute I walked into the Salon until I left I felt very welcomed. I had Yari as my stylist and she is absolutely wonderful. I always leave happy with my cut whenever I come to her! She always does such an amazing job!

My colorist is wonderful. I continue to come back only because of her. The front desk needs some help. I was barely greeted at my appointment and never offered a beverage. Upon checking out I felt like I was being rushed. I had to ask about leaving a tip, had difficulty with the machine but had to figure it out myself. Then I was never asked to schedule a follow up appointment making me feel like they did not care if I came back. The front desk continually makes me feel uneasy and not welcomed. For as much as I spend there and as often I come I would hope for better service. Again if that was my first impression or I did not like the service my colorist provides I would not come to this establishment.

I went into Salon Dylan for a haircut and had to see a new hair dresser. I was not the happiest with my hair but am very much the person who will not say anything as I never want to make anyone providing me with a service feel bad. Laura was so sweet and could tell I was not happy when I left the Salon. The level of service Laura and her team provided to make sure I felt confident with my hair is amazing! They went above and beyond and I am so thankful for that!

There are not enough words to describe my love for this salon and the people and the experience. Shawn is a hair magician as is Brandon and they stop at nothing to make it relaxing and exceptional. The staff doesnt miss a beat from email and text reminders to birthday rewards, the latest Aveda products. I always get my appointment when I need to and can actually have a huge gap between because it grows out so nicely.
