Recently, I took my car to a well known tire franchise to be inspected at the end of the month (totally my fault and totally a HUGE MISTAKE!!!) They failed it and wanted almost $800 just to allow it to pass. This is the first time in 20 years of marriage and being a Navy wife, I found myself in this position because my husband is currently on his final deployment before retirement. (something they were aware of another BIG MISTAKE!) After emailing my husband in a panic, he told me DO NOT get the work done there and just take it home failed. A fellow chief onboard suggested to my husband that I call OCEAN AIR AUTO because he takes his vehicles to them and only them and promised that they would not take advantage of my situation and be honest and fair, so I did. Instead of just going with the repair work that I asked for a quote on, Mark first suggested they re inspect my vehicle and then discuss repairs if needed. I took his advice and about an hour after I dropped off my car he called me to let me know that my vehicle had actually passed inspection, however, he also took the time to explain the things that did need work but didn't technically fail inspection without EVER one time bad mouthing the other place. He also suggested to me in order of importance which repairs I should be concerned with (in case I needed to do it in stages due to $$) or he said "you can just pay the $16 for your inspection and take your car now." I chose to take the money I had already planned to spend "to allow my car to pass inspection" and tackle the first repair on his list...I would have NEVER dreamed in all my life that I would actually feel good about purchasing 4 new tires for my car, however, because it was my choice and I wasn't being "forced" into it, it almost felt like shopping for shoes (not quite, but almost ;-) ) So I would like to thank Mark and everyone at Ocean Air Auto for very quickly and honestly handling my situation. Unfortunately, there are always going to be people in the world that will try to take advantage of others, However, OCEAN AIR AUTO is NOT one of those places! So, to all the military families in the area, if you ever find yourself in a similar position, you can feel good sending your loved ones that are home holding down the fort to OCEAN AIR AUTO for help while you are out defending our country. ~ Deanna - Virginia Beach, VA

It was a pleasure doing business with Ocean Air Auto. Eric was very thorough in explaining the options available to me for my repair work. It was very apparent that he was concerned with first diagnosing the problem to see if there could be a cheaper route to take. I received excellent customer service and the environment was clean and friendly. I will not hesitate to bring my car in again and will be happy to share my total satisfaction with friends and family.
