I was traumatized a long with my pet , I was shown little to no compassion or understanding for what I went through during this visit.
The assistant was cold & unfeeling one week later when I went in to buy food.

Our cat, Max, came in for his regular check up and dental cleaning. He had a bad reaction to the anesthesia after his last dental cleaning. We relayed this info to Dr. Cuevas and she indicated that she'd change up the protocol so Max wouldn't feel as bad after. She did...and it worked! His dental cleaning went great.
Also, we found out that Max was pre-diabetic. Dr. Cuevas came up with a plan to get his weight under control and avoid full-fledged diabetes

What impressed me most was Dr. Cuevas spending ample time with us and Wallflower. Our cat was adopted from a shelter this past sat. so we were taking her in for the 1st week check up as recommended by the shelter for the process. Wallflower is a an active geriatric cat,at almost 18 1/2 yrs young and we have to be creative with her caregiving and having a vet who understands the needs of geriatric cats is SUPER important to us.Dr. Cuevas examined Wallflower in her lap,developing a very positive relationship with her from the start.Our new cat was very comfortable in the examine room,with windows just the right height for her to peek out,a park bench where Dr. Cuevas held her,and a cat perch to sit on if she desired.Dr. Cuevas also provided us with plenty of advice and products for our cat who suffers with gum disease and needs alternative treatments to dental work or surgery.We are VERY happy we chose LaGrange Park Cat Clinic for Wallflower and recommend this office to our cat parents.
