I have taken my pets to Hinkles for at least six years. I have been very happy in the past but this last experiance was horrible. I took my dog in for a dental cleaning and to cut some growths off I have been asking to have removed the last four or five times I have had her to this vet. I dropped her off at the vet at eight fifteen. I was told to call at two if I didn't hear from them before then. I recieved a call from them at one fifteen asking which growths I wanted to have taken off of her even though I discussed the locations with the vet when I originally made her appointment with Hinkles. I told them which growths and hung up. I got another call at three fifteen asking me which growths I wanted cut off. I again told them which ones to cut off. I asked when she would be ready, they told me they couldn't tell me what time because she was still asleep but they closed at five. I went to Hinkles at four sixteen because if I drove home, I wouldn't be able to get back to Hinkles by five. They told me my dog was still asleep and wouldn't be ready for a while. I spike to the vet who did the surgery and who said she was very worried about the one spot. I told her that was very concerning because I asked about the growths each time I brought her in and had been told they were just fat growths. I waited until five forty five for my dog. They carried her out to my car because she was so groggy she couldn't walk. Later after i got home I looked at the staples the vet put in to hold the wound together. The staples were very sloppy and several 9f them had to sharp point sticking out. She caught herself on one of the staples and screamed out. I had to remove that staple so she wouldn't catch herself on it again.
While I was still at the vet they gave me a receipt for my payment then told me it was going to be more because they were sending in two biopsys. Then the said they needed to send I. Three biopsy so my bill would be more. The office manager told me she would send me the final bill via email the next morning. I waited until late afternoon to get the email which never arrived. I called Hinkles to ask for the final bill, I was told they would email it to me right away. That was Thursday and this is Sunday, I am still waiting for the bill.

Our doctors try to be very precise and if there are many growths present, they like to clarify your request before moving forward with any procedure. The staple issue is concerning, and the Doctors would like an opportunity to look at it for your pet's safety. We have made several failed attempts to contact you regarding the email. We have a confirmed delivery and would love to speak with you further as to why you did not receive your receipt. Every one and everything was handled in best way possible I felt. Staff was extra nice and professional all together. They all were very thorough on all that they did and what fir me to expect and to do after taking prcioux home very pleased with the service but they have always may me satisfied each time I take any if my animals including my oldest pet Odie who is like going on 15 years old great place to take your animals

Our checkup visit for Murphy and Graham went very well . Dr. Morris and the techs were wonderful. All of our questions were answered and our pups were treated with great care.

I want to love Hinkle’s so much, I feel they’re the most reputable in the area, but our recent visit was a bit disappointing. Granted, I believe they were very busy that day. As of a couple days ago, my cat cannot use his back legs to stand due to a dislocated hip, possible Achilles tendon rupture, and a fibula break. His condition is moderately critical, in my opinion, and 2 days later, no one has called to see how he’s doing (like past experiences with other vets). *Considering we were unsure if he would have a bowel movement, which could turn into an emergency.
The overview at his release felt unorganized. No one was confident in which med to start the next day. Lots of confusion. I was emotional and tried to remember what was told to me, but a written overview in the release/receipt paper would’ve been really helpful.
Overall, I like the staff. I think creating order in chaos and providing written rather than solely verbal findings/explanations could be helpful in specific cases.
Regardless, I appreciate their knowledge, expertise, and time. Just hope a serious case is treated more than a routine checkup.

Hinkle’s was there when I needed them the most! Dr. Morris is the best and my fur baby is recovering nicely! Great staff with excellent care.
