I've been going to this salon for a while now. Never in my life have I found a salon and stylist that I go to and ABSOLUTELY LOVE my hair every single time!!! When I say I have NEVER left this place unhappy I mean just that. Sherita does a awesome job on my short cut. I've also seen Nikkis work as well; she also does a good job especially on longer hair. I love these ladies

I've got one word, Ghetto! Long story short, I do not want my hair flat ironed... EVER! I made that clear. The stylist, Jazzman, flat ironed my hair bone straight and then tried to put curls in my hair. When I complained, she played dumb!
So, she rewashed my hair... Put me under the dryer without a drop of product on my hair. WHO DRIES AFRICAN AMERICAN HAIR WITH NO PRODUCT? NO OIL honey, not even a shot of setting lotion!!!
When I complained about getting my hair dried with no product.. She says to me, what do you want me to do? Then she told me she was not going to do my hair and I had to wait for someone who had two customers ahead of me. I got to this salon at 10:15 am it was now 2:30 pm, really!

Don't waste your time or your money. Go to a salon that will listen and give you what you want, for your money, that you work for. Not some ghetto, poverty argument when it's not what you want.

I started going to Genesis in 2006! I get a wash and style weekly. Sherita has me spoiled! Just when I think I'm gonna do my own hair every now and again it never turns out how she does it!lol She has a special gift and she has my hair trained! Its healthy, shiny and flows!Very Knowledgeable with color and cuts too! Ahh need to be on a hair care box! Try them out today! Genesis Rocks!
