Aspen View Veterinary Hospital

I was so relieved that they were able to work in seeing Coco when she was very sick. They were very thorough in examining what could be wrong, and getting her the right medicine. They handled her with care, knowing she didn't feel well at all. I have a lot of confidence in this staff and it shows how much they really care.

Took my two cats in for their first visit to Aspen View. Everyone was extremely friendly and Dr Savage did great in handling our MCs.

Everyone was courteous and knowledgeable. Dr. Weidman explained the trouble with foxy and it set our mind at ease. Thank You Dr. Weidman.

Polite and helpful staff. Very sweet to my dog and I, and helped make sure my bill wasn’t too high :) Was able to receive the prescription I needed by the end of the day!

While I was out of town (my dad was watching my dog), my dog had an emergency that required surgery to her arm. My regular vet could not see her on the same day. We were heading into a 3 day weekend and they didn’t have any Saturday appointments open either. My original vet recommended I try another vet.

I called around and was fortunate enough to grab the last appointment with Aspen View. According to my father, the office was clean and prompt to see her at her designated appointment time. Dr Savage was quick to diagnose the problem and did an excellent job with the surgery. She had good bedside manor and was quite knowledgeable. My dog is healing nicely. I would recommend her and Aspen View to a friend, hands down, especially with how accommodating they were to a temporary patient. Thank you to your office for your compassion and flexibility. I know we would have ended up in the emergency room had we not been able to be seen by Dr Savage!

The only constructive feedback my dad offered regarding this office was towards the front office staff. After my dad had gotten my dog from the exam room post surgery, he was standing with her at the desk waiting to check out, pay, and receive the antibiotics. The two women at the front desk spent several minutes talking with another patient on the phone. The receptionist was heard making jokes and laughing quite a bit while the other worker was taking care of some other duties. That’s all fine (I certainly appreciate friendly office staff), however it lasted too long, especially as my dog stood there bleeding from her drainage tube and also constantly leaking large amounts of urine on the floor, as her infection caused her to temporarily lose control of her bowels (something everyone knew about from the start). Not to mention my dog was not able to comfortably stand and wait, having just gotten out of surgery. I would recommend more training regarding putting patients on the phone on hold so that more emergent ones in the office can be attended to. Sometimes a few minutes makes a huge difference in an experience when it comes to seeing our pets in pain. Other than this detail, my father said that everyone in the office was friendly and helpful.

Thank you again for the care and help. Like I stated before, we will be recommending your office to others.

Wonderful experience! The vet was very attentive & helped explain how to calm our very nervous pup over the 4th of July. Hands down, the best vet in Colorado Springs!

This was our first visit to Aspenview. We absolutely loved it. I felt like my dogs were really very well cared for and that they really listened to all of my concerns and address them. I’m so happy to find a new vet office that I can have confidence in.
