We were seen at our appointed time, BRAVO. The tech & doctor listened to my concerns and gave me the meds my dog needed.

While the vet assistant was very helpful, the doctor on staff was seemingly so rushed that we ended up paying the $250 and taking our dog to another vet for a second opinion. We brought Koala in for a cyst on her paw, and the Dr. took a couple seconds to look at and jumped to surgery as the ONLY option, claiming that it will turn into cancer. She did not perform a biopsy, educate us about what it might be, or even provide antibiotics, but the a different vet did do those things literally the same day. Your Dr. also got the wrong weight for our dog and demanded that she was overweight with a heart murmur. We agreed to do the x-ray, but then the Dr. realized that the weight was probably incorrect. She disappeared into the other room and never changed her diagnosis after the correct weight, because she probably realized that all the advice she offered was now incorrect. The other vet at a different hospital noticed no murmur, found the weight to be within range for her breed, and took a proper biopsy before giving us our options. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a vet and will never be coming back.

Did not hesitate to order a special rabies vaccine (TF) for my dog, even though they had to order 50 doses in order to get just one! Once the vaccine arrived, they sent me an appointment time via email with ample time to change, which I didn't. A special dog vaccinated in 5 minutes at a very reasonable price.

The Doctor lacked personal skills and seemed very out of it. She did not engage with us or my cats. I was not convinced she was even a real Vet. She did not conduct a thorough exam of my pets as other doctors at your clinic and VCA have and usually do. She looked at eyes and teeth, suggested expensive dental work, but did not do a hands-on exam for lumps, bumps, abdomen, and extremities. It really was not an exam--the techs just took weight and temperature and administered vaccines, but there was no real exam. I will take my pets to VCA for a proper exam. The vet techs and other staff, however, were fantastic, personable,and very nice. They do not try to hustle you like VCA clinics do, but I think this particular doctor was not the best. My other experiences with VetCare Pet Clinic have all been positive.
