Although I don't look forward to a dental appt., my visit was comfortable from the start. Very friendly receptionist to put you at ease. The professional care I received from Pamela was excellent. Dr. Mathews explained importance of health maintenance, oral care to reduce dental problems. I look forward to continuing my oral care with this very caring group.

I always have a very professional visit at Artisan Dentristy. I actually enjoy my appointments. Every one that I have contact with is friendly and knowledgeable. My results are perfect.

I have a bit of a "dental phobia". The staff here couldn't be more understanding. They work with this and are very careful to be extra gentle and understanding. Dr. Matthew is wonderful, very friendly and also extremely understanding of my situation. I would HIGHLY recommend Artisan Dentistry to anyone and everyone!

Unfortunately I have needed extensive dental over the past few months. I went to Dr. Mathew in Newburyport as a new patient with multiple issues and some very serious problems. I have always had enormous anxiety around dentists and I have found that the team at Artisan provides exceptional care not only for my teeth but also for me as an individual. Not only are my teeth on the path to recovery, the whole experience has been less than horrific which, if you have dental anxiety like I do, is really saying something.
The treatment plan that Dr. Mathew provided for me was very specific before I started, also the cost of this plan was disclosed and more than adequately explained to me before I started. I think that's a huge concern for patients like me without dental insurance. The evaluation and treatment plan was done quickly, and there have been no surprises associated with cost.
Pamela, Jamie and Jill are some of the best staff I have ever come across in my 40 plus years of reluctantly and fearfully going to the dentist, and Dr. Mathew is a young and quite talented practitioner of a very difficult craft. They treat the whole person and not just the teeth.
