I'm new to yoga this is my second time going. The teacher try to help me which I like. I just wish that they have a beginner class early in the morning, that would make it a 5 start for me.

First week back to hot yoga after having a baby. Allison and Chris were fantastic!

I LOVE Garden State yoga! I love the Glenrock studio, the instructors, and the entire vibe! I love that we always get to practice inversions no matter who the instructor is! I do wish they sold vitamin water. I do not like coconut water and wish there was something else to drink after class.

I can practice yoga any place, wherever I unroll my mat. However my humble practice is elevated to a new level at GSY. First, the staff are wonderful, kind, helpful. Second, the studio is bright and immaculate.Yes, someone even cleans the yoga studio floors between classes, hooray! Third and foremost, the teachers at GSY are pretty wonderful. They come from a variety of yoga backgrounds, have extensive certifications, deliver clear instruction and guidance and gentle encouragement. I personally like multi-level classes because it encourages me to go a little farther in my practice yet I can hide in the back if I'm feeling just so-so that day, too. Lastly, the fellow yogi's at GSY are friendly, non-intimidating and have pretty inspiring practices themselves. I like the extensive schedule of classes starting early morning, running through the afternoon and evening. There some days when I really "need" to practice yoga and I'm happy there is usually a class there ready and waiting for me.

the place is clean. instructors are good, classes are not boring.
however, it would be nice when you enter the studio, that the talking, be kept
to a minimum. Trying to prepare for class, with a bunch of people conversing, which starts quiet and ends up loud, is not my idea of a true yoga experience. The only gripe i have is when i approached one of the yogi's behind the counter, I was told "that's not how we do things here" which totally turned me off.( this was in Glen Rock ) Its the same whether you go to Bloomfield, or Glen Rock, I can't speak for the Hoboken studio I was have not been there..

My free class at Garden State Yoga was great! I tried their Bikram yoga on Monday with Ilene. The class was small but great! I still felt the energy. I will come back again.

The workshop was amazing. I hadn't been to a yoga class in a very long time. And boy the next day that was obvious!
I really enjoyed Alison's class, the teaching method and the fact that there was an assistant to ensure we were all doing our postures correctly.
I will definitely return.
