We brought our first puppy home after 18 years being without a dog. Even though we read books and articles on dog care and dog training, we also asked and accepted lots of recommendation on additional books, trainers and vets. Encanto got rave reviews from neighborhood friends. We contacted Encanto, asked lots of questions and were asked to fill out a questionnaire in advance of the appointment.
The staff and our vet., Dr Hogan, are friendly, knowledgeable, responsive and really love the animals entrusted to them. Because of Covid, the procedure is that you make an appointment, on arriving at Encanto, you call the office to check in. You are asked a few questions and someone comes out to talk with you about your 4-legged family member, they love up your pup and take him into clinic to meet Dr. Hogan.
Dr. Hogan called us (owners wait in car while doctor goes over the pup) after she thoroughly looked over our new puppy, laughing as she told us what she'd found (a bundle of energy) and explained the vaccinations, care, things to watch for and much more. The breeder had a chip inserted a chip. The clinic checked to be sure it was there and that it showed accurate information. It did. Our puppy is truly a handful, makes us laugh, and is a source of pleasure for us. We are very pleased that he is in good hands with the professional at Encanto. They follow up on all treatments and send owners home with a full printed medical report for our files.
We would encourage animal owners to talk with friends and ask for recommendations. I am glad we did. We could not be more pleased or satisfied with Encanto Pet Clinic.

Came to this clinic because our old vet was treating our dog like an animal, and not the family member that she is. From the call to make the appointment, to the end of our visit, everyone was so friendly, caring, and knowledge. The vet took time to explain everything to us, and answered every one of our questions. We are very relieved that we found Encanto Pet Clinic.

As a pet parent, Encanto Pet Clinic has provided gentle, yet thorough care to all of my dogs and cats (3 dogs and 7 cats) for the last 32 years. The services, from active treatment, grooming, and end of life care; has always been compassionate to both the animal and human clients. The extra touches of follow-up phone calls and birthday cards make it even more personal. I have recommended them to many friends. Although the current methods are not ideal due to Covid concerns, every effort is made to communicate and accommodate during these unusual times. The office staff are friendly and experienced in trying to meet your needs. I highly recommend the practice.
