Office staff was much more friendly than last time I went. Glad I gave them another try. They also had a greater selection of frames.

Dr. Moore is very committed to updating the technology that she uses, and does a very thorough exam. Unfortunately, I felt that her staffing level was too low at our last visit. While the staff are very caring and professional, they simply had too many people to take care of at one time to focus their energies as they should have been able to.

More staff was needed on the day of our appointment. We had eye appointments this past Saturday. There were 2 ladies up front. One of the ladies was doing the pre-doctor eye tests. The other gal was doing everything else (checking individuals out and helping individuals find glasses).

My complaints for the pre-doctor eye exam:

-I could see sweat/grease on the machine that took pictures of your eyes. They really need to wipe that down between patients.

-I don't think that the gal that did the pre-doctor eye tests sanitized her hands before putting drops in my eyes.

-One of the walls in the pre-doctor exam room was very scuffed up from the chair rubbing against it. Very unprofessional looking.

More staff was needed to help with picking out glasses. On the weekend they need to have someone who their only job is to help customers pick out glasses. I felt the eye glass selection for women was very limited. I currently have no frame eye glasses. I found only a couple to choose from.

The lady who was checking out individuals was very nice, but she was just overwhelmed. We had to ask for her to print out our bill so we could checkout. She did not do this automatically for us. While she was in the process of printing out our bill, she allowed a customer to butt in front of us and check out.

I am more and more becoming not happy with this business.

Service is polite and adequate but there is no spark, no personal touch, no joy. I would like to think that the staff are enjoying their life, their work and are interested in their customers/patients. It's all pretty sterile, like whether you come or go, live or die- it's all the same to them.

Early morning appointments are definitely more preferred, as the "wait time" was cut in half!! Typically, when I schedule afternoon appointments I wait longer than the actual appointment even takes. :( However, thus far, the staff has been so friendly that I will continue to use their services.

I work within the public and when I went to Evelyn Moore for my eye examine I felt as though it is an unprofessional business. My appointment was at 8am and when I got there at 7:50am, the place of business was not even open yet and the employees did not show up until 8am. I expect to been seen at 8am if that is what time my appointment is. I sat there for about 15 minutes why they got the office open and could get me in. During my examination, I felt it was very impersonal and not much concern about my question. It was just in an out.

Evelyn and her staff are very nice and polite and knowledgeable. Generally they are on time with their appointment schedule. From time to time they are running a little behind but generally they are on time. From the time you walk in you know that they really really care for you not only as a patient but as a person as well. A very satisfied and long term patient.
