We have a 7 year old Toyota that was at the point of aging beyond the timeline of the little maintenance record provided by Toyota. We plan to keep the car for another 100,000 miles if possible, so I looked for a good local repair place. Siskiyou import services was recommended to me. I had just put new tires on the car and while this was being done by another business, they commented that the rear shocks were leaking and needed replacing. When I took the car to Siskiyou for an evaluation they told me they could see no sign of leakage on the shocks. I decided to let them do the big 120,000 maintenance. They provided great customer service while dropping off and picking up. Their prices are not cheap but they were less than those charged by the dealer. It is hard to evaluate car maintenance unless you are also skilled in car repair but from my experience to date I intend to use them again.

Took my Jett's in two wks ago and was told it was a loose wire causing my car not to start... I paid over $80.00 for this service. Two wks later car wouldn't start again took it back and was told they couldn't find ant problem must be the fairly new battery I had. I agreed to purchase a battery from them but was shocked to see that they charged me close to $80 to instal new battery! Seriously I will be looking for new place to take my car... I am disappointed as this establishment is so close to my house... The interesting thing about all this is when my wife was stuck and needed a jump the kind man who helped her was the father of the owner and he had reassured her not to worry that his son totally guarantees his work.... Disappointed to say the least

I had my ignition lock cylinder fail, so I took it to Siskiyou Imports. This was my first visit to this business. I was told that it would cost around $680.00 to fix it, which included getting the new lock keyed to the existing keys. When the bill came it was $844.00. I was charged over $500 for the lock cylinder. You can get them on the internet for less than $200.00.
Then I was told my front brakes were wore out and needed to be replaced and that it was going to cost $450 because he could not get aftermarket parts and also the rotors needed to be replaced. I did not have them work on the brakes. After I got the car back I took the vehicle to the brake guy that I have been working with for the last 12 years, and he said that the brakes did need to be replaced, then I watched him put a caliper on the rotor and he said that the rotors had very little wear on them and did not need to be replaced. This same guy had done the brake job on this car previously and had used Napa parts.....so it's not true that you can't get aftermarket parts for this car (he charged me $215 for the previous brake job).
I was also informed that I had a leaking strut and they all needed to be replaced. That was going to cost another $1100. Then there was the 90,000 mile service (which absolutely needs to be done) another $1800. These prices are extremely high.
So how am I to feel about Siskiyou Imports? Well, I will not return to this business and will not recommend them to others.

I've been going to Siskyou Imports fro many years with great satisfaction.
Just a few days ago my radiator sprang a leak, two days before I was planning to leave on a road trip. i drove straight there, Bow immediately ordered a new radiator, installed it right away, and I had my car back in about two hours.

took my Avalon in to Siskiyou Import after seeing an engine check light on. Jason scanned the computer with some nifty looking instrument and said car needed an ignition coil. fixed a day later. what more can you ask?
