The appointment was easily obtained, we didn't have to wait and we were in and out very quickly - much to the delight of my little furry buddy. Everyone is so kind and attentive and we would recomment Animal Hospital of Orleans to anyone looking for an outstanding veterinary provider.

For the first time in over 20 years of bringing pets to this office, I was disappointed

Perhaps it was just me, but yesterday fell short of my expectations of your business.

I was told it was very important that Dingo's T4 be done 4 - 6 hours after he had the tablet. He has breakfast about 7 am so the latest he could have blood drawn would be 1 pm, the appointment was made for 1 pm, so I could bring Aussie for his 2 pm GS at the same time and include Sydney's annual check up between the two.

I arrived on time and was placed in an examination room. I waited for 20 minutes without an aid acknowledging my presence. I could over hear the conversations in the next room, someone had sold their boat, laughter, happiness, which is wonderful, but I did not know if anyone other than the receptionist was aware I was there on a time frame.

So, I called your office on my cell, only to be put on hold. I could hear the conversation, I know the receptionist was checking out a client, but time was continuing to march on and, "Did anyone else know I was there?'

At that time everyone became very defensive: I was told it took the aid 20 minutes to prepare for my appointment (shouldn't that have been done prior to my arrival?) she told me she had a cat that needed attention, and just wasn't given the time she needed to prepare in advance, etc.

For my $847 visit, wasn't I important enough to be acknowledged?

Maybe it was a bad day all around, but I also run an office and attempt to make each of our clients feel they are important and valued. I do not waste their appointment time preparing for their visit, I am prepared in advance with at least the basic information required for the meeting.

For the first time in over 20 years of bringing pets to this office, I was disappointed.

Kind, skillful, attentive staff. My dog was throughly examined and well cared for. So glad to have a good vet and vet service. I am new on Cape Cod and sadly left behind a wonderful practice. But I am so impressed with the Animal Hospital of Orleans. The entire facility is so clean and cheery. There were many other clients there when I was there but everyone got efficient attention. Other people's pets that are regulars at the practice were not at all frightened which I think is a good indicator. The vet who examined my dog was very patient. He called me with the results of my dog's tests the day after my appointment.
