My hygenist and the dentist were great. The girl at the front desk is always wonderful. The one with the short hair was the only part of my experience that was not pleasant.
Dr. SIlver the orthodontist is also brilliant and kind.

On the news I heard of a dentist who broke his patients' teeth so he could make more money putting in crowns. You don't do that! Dental prices are high, and I tend not to pay attention to that when my dental needs are minimal The gum treatments and other care you provide may be for my own good.
I prefer to downplay these surveys. It is better to hope that medical workers find their work to be a calling from God and are not begging for applause like athletes and actors. May God give you inner strength and keep you from the COVID virus! On the whole the atmosphere in East Norriton is good. Dr. Yen seems to know what she is doing, and her aide yesterday seemed very competent. Wendy has the unpleasant task of telling people that they owe money, but she seems to be a considerate person, despite the pressure

Part of the process was 5 star part 1 star. The assessment of my tooth issue started in February. The dentist told me to watch it as it wasn't horrible. By March it was horrible but Covid struck so I was sent to a different dentist. That dentist told me that it would be difficult to do a root canal because I had a crown, but he suggested I go to another dentist (I forget all these names but they are in my file) who said I should wait it out and eventually see an endodontist because the canal looked very small. One of those two dentists added no notes to the file. So the following dentist had to start over. In the end, I had at least 10 X-rays of the same tooth! I waited out the occasional pain until September. I started the process again. First went back to the original dentist who was replaced by Dr Yang. She sent me to the endodontist in Trappe. She had two very long sessions with me and realized I had to have a filling removed first and have the decay repaired. So she sent me back to Dr Yang for that and a temporary crown. Then I was sent back to Trappe for the final session. Then I was sent back to Dr Yang to get my permanent filling and to get fitted for my permanent crown. Then yesterday I finally got my crown! Whew. If you add up all the visits for one tooth it seems crazy! I will say that Dr Yang was great. I have no issues with her. One thought I had is why can't Trappe employ a generalist to do the filling? Why can't the endodontist do the filling? I'm not asking for anything. Just venting! I was in some sort of pain from February to November and after the endo sessions I would be in extreme pain for several days! This process was extremely agonizing, frustrating and long.

My hygienist, Inga, is absolutely the best. She takes the time to explain what you need to do to continue maintaining healthy gums and teeth. Oh, and did I mention, she doesn’t hurt you!!

The 2 stars are because the dental hygienist was awesome, I had a good cleaning session. However, the dentist said a total of 2 words to me, didn't make any effort to be friendly, and acted like I wasn't even there. Additionally, the dentist went directly to the x-rays and immediately started dictating what she wanted to have done. She wouldn't even explain herself why she was recommending this work be done, she commanded that the hygienist explain it to me. I go to American Dental every 6 months to be cleaned. There is no way I suddenly have thousands of dollars of work to be done. I will NOT have that dentist working on my teeth. She lost her chance to make a good impression. I am NOT going to be pressured into having frivolous work done on my teeth.

Care used to be excellent. All they did this visit was try to sell me things. I had to go back next day for scaling additional $$$, They wanted me to go to periodontist. I mad an appt and asked them to send my x-rays and files.
They did not do it. I had to sit in the periodontist office for 30 minutes waiting for the files.
