I can only speak in superlative terms about the Mar vista Health care Center. From their friendly office staff to their Chiropractic/ massage/ acupuncture/ medical practitioners they are second to none.
After just a few short months of treatment my excruciating sciatica/ lower back pain was completely removed. They are now focusing their attention on my neck and upper back area, and once again they are professionally approaching the task and advising me how to exercise to help me to assist myself on my journey toward recovery as I improve with each visit.
Unlike the average holistic clinic they also actually employ medical doctors including both pain, internal medicine doctors and allergists that are all top notch and work in concert with their holistic methods in a cooperative manner that is the envy of clinics throughout all California. I was properly diagnosed and directed for sleep apnea and thanks to that for the first time in my life I am doing something about my lack of energy and falling asleep in the middle of the day.
The owners are a husband wife team that are both certified nutritionists ready to give advice and counseling merely as an accommodation - one could not ask for more!
I strongly urge that anyone seeking sound all around medical care visit the Mar Vista and be amazed by as I was and continue to be by their tender loving care!
I have suffered lower back pains due to sports injuries and accidents. I injured my ankles and lower back while hiking. When I consulted my regular doctor, she told me that I probably had bone spurs. I would also wake up with neck pain so severe that I could not move my neck. My doctor simply told me that I couldn't do anything to fix these problems except take pain medications which she proscribed.
Then a co-worker told me about Mar Vista Health Center. I called them and went in for a free check-up and massage. I am so glad that they offered the x-rays for $50 because my regular doctor would have charged me $75. When I got the results back, I found that I did indeed have bone spurs on both of my heels. Furthermore, I found the source of my neck pain no curvature in my neck and lack of mobility in my neck was leading to repeated herniated disk problems when I slept in an awkward position.
After a year of weekly adjustments and massages, recommended stretches and exercises, I have been pain free and I have improved in my neck and back mobility!

Adjustment &massage long overdue.
I am very happy with the treatment (physiotherapy and chiropractic) that I've been receiving at Mar Vista Health Center for the past month or so. Everyone is very friendly and helpful, and being in this positive environment has helped me greatly with my healing.
Felt like they were only after my money. Pretty confident that they were actually.

I go to Mar Vista Health Center because I get all the help I need and leave feeling great; massage and body alignment.
I like the fact that Mar Vista optimizes my Health Insurance Plan provisions, allows me to try new things like the Allergy Testing, the Supplements, the Prolotherapy/Trigger Point (which didn't help, but I did try it...you never know), the Posture Rectifying Jacket (trying, but no conclusion yet). The Chiropractice and Massage did the most good. I am still waiting to be fitted and for them to order the orthotics. I have tried many things at different places and sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. I like the broad range of things that can be done, and that they do try at Mar Vista.

Sorry to have rescheduled my chiropractic appointment, only to find, once more, that my chiropractor was not there that day.
Perhaps another female chiropractor might be available someday.
I love Mar Vista Health Center. Scheduling is a challenge at times however.
