Brand Optometry

I was walking down Brand Blvd. and saw this Optometry shop. I was in dire need of an eye exam and a new prescription, so though what the heck. I made an appointment, and returned a week later. The staff was extremely warm and professional. They were running behind, but when I met the doctor, I could understand why. He actually spend time to LISTEN, and even more impressive, apologized for running behind. What a jewel. I was fitted for contacts, ordered a pair of glasses, and was thrilled with the service. Highly recommend this practice. If you have to wait, be patient and POLITE to the staff. Sometimes running behind just happens, but know if it does, you will not be short-changed on you care.

The service is horrible! The girls at the front desk are rude.

Just had an appt. here on Saturday and the service sucks. Not sure if the front desk people hate having to work on Saturdays or if they just had something up their A**. The first thing this girl does is look me up and down and says whats your name? she didn't even say hello! can you say rude!?!

they lady that did those pre-tests before seeing the doctor was even more rude! she didn't even tell me what these tests were about! i guess she assumed i knew what was going on when i didn't.

the doctor was the best part of the visit. he was very nice and i felt comfortable and he is the only reason that the rating is not a 1 or less.

If you are not Armenian don't go here, you will not get good service.

From the moment I stepped in until the moment I left, the staff were extremely helpful and attentive. Huge selection of frames to choose from. The place was very clean and their equipment seemed very modern. I highly recommend Brand Optometry.

Dr. Black's exam was excellent, the facility is very nice and the staff pleasant. However, the billing person insisted that my exam was not covered by my HMO. Fortunately, my wife was with me, and she explained that her recent exam at Brand Optometry had been covered by the same insurance, so why wasn't mine? The billing person still argued that it wasn't, but she finally checked and found it was covered. If my wife had not been with me, I would have been charged for the exam.

I brought in my glasses because the lens had come loose from the frame. The repair was done expeditiously and well. I appreciate the good service at a reasonable price.
