Well, the visit was OK. But I'm beginning to wonder if all that superior equipment is worth it. My vision isn't ever going to be all that great, I've accepted that, and my 3 choices (progressive lens that I've tried and didn't like, or wearing 2 pairs of glasses and switching, or continuing with what I have, all have downside. It was good of the Dr. to let me decide.
Also, I was charged $24 for a 'picture of the back of my eye'....I didn't expect and was not told of that charge until checkout. Whyisn't that photo part of the exam? Why wasn't I offered a choice. Did that photo help the doctor? Did it matter at all?
Also, when I asked to order some disposable contacts, I was quoted $70 per box....I balked at that, knowing that I'd paid much less than that 2 yrs ago. After pushing the issue, somebody, I think one of the other cashiers said those were boxes of 90 lens...my goodness, I only wanted 10 or 20 lens in the box like my last order (I rarely wear them). Someone volunteer to search and found the lens's in boxes of 30 at a lower price....so I ordered.
So the place is very good, but not perfect.

Great and knowledgeable staff! Dr. Reeder was exceptional. He spent quality time with me and explained every step during the visit. I did not feel rushed at all. Highly recommended.
