Our bridal party had services booked months before our wedding. Unfortunately, we had some changes in our reservations due to flight delays & flight changes of members of the bridal party so we had to cancel some services. We understand that is difficult on staff, yet called ahead a week before in one situation, a few days in another's. That being said, the front staff seemed VERY annoyed, unfriendly and difficult when meeting them for the first time at the desk. I would say, a bit condescending.

Kelly was great with our nails and EXTREMELY professional, classic AVEDA service. My sister-In-Law had a fantastic message and was also pleased with Kelly for her manicure ans gel polish. Kelly was excellent with us. I needed to reschedule my nails as the lease home we were in, I had someone park behind me and could not find him on the beach to let me out. While Kelly was understanding, your receptionist was not, nor helpful and was rude. My hair was done well, stylist not very engaging. I seek out AVEDA salons at home here in Charlotte NC as well as when I'm in NY or my previous home in Dallas, Texas.
I have NEVER had a bad experience in any other AVEDA salon. The reception desk personnel in NY & Texas are extremely helpful & well mannered. Not what I saw at Avantgarde

I have frequent mani/pedi appointments with Stacy. She is not only knowledgeable about trends, but more important to me is she is concerned about overall nail health and keeps the area very clean. Kelly and Stacy have a good relationship which contributes to a very relaxing experience. Highly recommend!

I absolutely love Sarah. She makes me feel like a super star every time I am in for my appt. I think i might of cried just a bit i was so happy with my hair :) I love the atmosphere and look forward to my every six week therapy session.

I travel far for a great cut by Aly and she always gives a great cut. Living my new short do!
