I had pain in my jaw and ear. I got an appointment immediately. It turned out that I had a broken tooth underneath a capped tooth which also had a root canal. Tooth was pulled and prepped for an implant. Absolutely no pain during extraction. Thanks for the immediate attention.

For being retired and no longer covered by insurance it was too expensive.
Thanks for your concerns. We strive to provide a fair fee for the services we provide. Our fees are based on our overhead head costs to keep out office open and be up on the latest technologies in dental medicine. This includes lab costs for such things as crowns, dentures, implants etc. There is growing pressure on the U.S. dental labs to cut costs by sending dental cases they receive out of the country to other countries such as China where labor is cheaper. You also get what you pay for by sending dental cases out of the country. Lead and other heavy metals have been found in crowns, bridges and dentures that were made in China. I choose to use labs that complete dental cases in Ohio and the U.S. who do not send them out of the country to be made. Therefore, their fees may be more because of their higher labor costs etc. I wish I could negotiate the electricity, gas, water fees etc we pay each month to operate our office because to me, their fees are not fair.
