Optix Family Eyecare Center

i have been going to optix for many years and maybe for a few years i did not go but when myself and family decided to make an appointment they still had our records in the computer and was very nice and thanked us for coming back. we now have been back for almost 3 years and has had no problems only once when my sons appointment was never put in the computer, but they still saw him that day. the doctors truly take the time to explain and show you on the computer screen.

My husband and I recently took our dogs to the dog park. When we were getting ready to leave, I put my sunglasses on the backseat while I helped my Bassett Hound into the car. We left the park and 10 minutes into the ride home I realized I didn't have my glasses. We searched the car. No glasses. We went back to the dog park and low and behold there they were. My husband had ran over them when we left the park. I brought them into Optix and Judy (Dr. Joel's wife) replaced them on the spot. No questions asked. Who would do that? Optix is a true community store. They are concerned with the welfare of their clients. I've been a client for almost 20yrs now.

I needed to replace my lost reading eyeglasses as soon as possible. I went to Optix at 5 pm on Wednesday, received assistance in picking out a frame that both met the budget that I had in mind and looked great. On my way home from work on Thursday, I stopped by and my new reading glasses were ready for pickup!

I was there for a routine check-up and new glasses. Both the doctor and Judy (optician) were great. Judy took time and had patience with me while I tried on loads of frames, and finally decided on two. Optix is a very warm and welcoming place to go for all eye needs and I highly recommend it.

The staff is friendly and very welcoming with any questions or concerns. Dr. Kestenbaum is highly educated and well qualified. It is definitely the Best Eyecare Center in Nassau County.

This is our second annual visit to Optix.
All four of us wear glasses and three of us wear contact lenses. It was very easy to schedule convenient appointments as close to our insurance eligibility date. All staff was very courteous with little wait time.
The assortment of frames is excellent and the staff helps you to stay within your budget while making practical recommendations for lenses to make your eyeglasses as comfortable as possible.

I recently went to Optix for my check up. I am a recent eyeglass wearer and had issues getting use to my new glasses. He offered multiple excercises for me to try and they are working. The Dr spent an unusual amount of time explaining my particular eyesight issues. I received a more thorough examination than I get from my regular physician. I was very impressed with the equipment used to test not only my eyesight but the health of my eyes and I found out I have an issue which they are treatng currently. I would highly recommend Optix
