Dr. Ishihara and his assistant (I'm sorry, I didn't get her name) were very kind to our elderly mom and were able to communicate effectively with her. We were pleasantly surprised because she has dementia and has difficulty hearing, even with hearing aids, and we usually have to help with communication.
