Lux Aveda Salon/Spa

I was gifted with a Travelzoo 60-minute signature facial with eye treatment. The treatment was fine. Annette did a great job with extractions and using well-selected products. I felt relaxed and my skin felt moisturized and clean afterwards. After the facial she told me that the girl who booked my treatment did not inform me that I can't use my Groupon since I am a repeat customer. Lux essentially did me a favor by taking my appointment. I nodded, but was confused. So while checking out, I asked the cashier if what Annette said was true and also mentioned to her that I did not receive the eye treatment that was listed on the voucher. Although the cashier confirmed what Annette said, she was unable to find the language that limited the voucher. She then took it to her manager and then returned to tell me that the limitation does not apply to Travelzoo deals. While I understand that there was a misunderstanding in the appointment, I felt cheated. I had informed the salon that I didn't get my full service (no eye zone treatment) I did not get an appropriate response. My complaint was essentially ignored. Furthermore, the service was 50 minutes instead of 60 minutes, which I can understand if the Groupon listed the facial as 50 minutes. I also understand that $39 is a great deal but in the end I left the salon greatly disappointed. I hope this review can help you somewhat.

Everyone was super friendly and accommodating. My stylist came up with 3 different color plan options. My hair is maybe 2 inches below my shoulders and I felt the price was a little steep $140 for color and partial highlights was a little much may cut and color. I feel pretty but it is a little darker than I would've liked. I did provide pictures of my vision. I also didn't love that I had die on my forehead. I have only had one moment ever where I felt absolutely gorgeous and although everyone was nice it wasn't from here.

Once again Claire did an excellent job cutting & styling my hair.

Lux Aveda is great. I've been a client since they were at GardenWalk in Anaheim (the parking there was a huge dissatisfier. So glad they got out of there!). I continue to be a client and refer coworkers to them due to their continued partnership with offering Anaheim based Walt Disney Company a nice discount.
