I'm going to speak candidly as I do not know who reads these reviews and do not want to embarrass my daughter. :) I just want to extend my gratitude to the teaching staff, My daughter has always struggled with education and becoming motivated in respect to learning. I was slightly apprehensive to send her to Brown at first due to the tuition costs. She has been in school now for a few months and I cannot believe the strive she has to become a great stylist. Unlike the past I now get to regale classroom stories with her and see the excitement in her eyes when she talks about her classmates and teachers. I think I hear about a girl named Sarah at least twice a week...! My daughters famous quote is "I want to be her when I grow up" It gets me every time.. I am so so proud of her, and I want to thank Sarah for being so concerned for her education and taking extra time to explain and teach hands on. Brown Aveda will do themselves great justice to never let her go! Im not one to write reviews, I just couldnt be happier with how she is progressing. Thank you Sarah, and everyone else at Brown!
It seems to good to be true, and it probably is! Excellent services at prices that can simply not be matched.
pedicure was long. polish application was messy and thick. Need to return today to pick up bottle of nail color to make corrections
Melissa was very good. I came away with one of the best haircuts I have had in a long time. She is personable and well trained. The experience was excellent.,
Katelyn was. Very well spoken and kept me well informed about what she was doing throughout the process
The only downside to going to the Brown Aveda Institute is that it kind of takes a long time because students are learning, taking their time, and having educators check each step of the way. If you have the time though (about 2.25 hours for a haircut) I would recommend it. They make up for the time it takes by giving you a little extra pampering (mini facial, hand and arm massage, scalp massage) and the low prices ($15 for a haircut).
The students are very nice and attentive. I haven't had a bad experience yet.
great job
I recently just cut my hair a little bit shorter than shoulder length and I was so nervous on how I would be able to do it for prom. I went to aveda last year for prom and loved it And again this year I was more than pleased! I had an updo done and I was so impressed and excited they were able to get it up. There service made my prom night enjoyable knowing my hair looked outstanding!
was very pleased with everything
the girl who did my hair was very nice. the color is great. however i asked for all one length with face framing and she gave me layers. now i will have to wait till it grows out and try again. i even had a picture that i showed her. i also think they take way too long. 5 hours is a long time.
It took six and a half hours to do a full hi lite. That's absurd
Second haircut terrible, uneven. Had to come home and cut longer pieces to make it even. May nit come back
