Andrew Yap DDS

My appointment was at 2:30 p.m. and it took until 6:00 p.m. Dr. Yap made me wait, did a breathing test I didn't want and saw several patients during my procedure. I had to wait each time he went to see a patient. At one point I got up to go to the restroom and he said he couldn't wait for me and saw another patient. I was pobb by the time it was over. Dr. Yap "watched" a dark spot on my tooth for two years and now that he's filled it, he showed me where he thought the nerve was and where it really is. He said I now need a root canal and he will refer me to another dentist for that if I'm still in pain after a week. A week of pain? Really? Why didn't he fill the "dark spot" when it was small. I'm not happy at all. Dr. Vanderheide filled cavities as they appeared and didn't wait for them to get larger. I've never had problems with my teeth. I'm a single Mom with limited resources and I can't afford root canals. I need a dentist who will fill cavities when they are small and affordable. I've only had four fillings in my whole life and now I need a root canal? Seems weird to me. I'm never going back.

Excellent visit and was beyond my expectations. Tessa was amazing and very detailed with her job. She was also very comforting and professional. Awesome personality and can't wait for my next visit.
