I went to Today's Choice today, July 17 and there has been a change of ownership and fees. I have been a patient for at least 8 years. I was not informed that the previous dentist had sold the business even though they had called me to change my appointment. The cleaning was done expertly by a temp hygienist and then the new doctor came in to finish the exam. He was pleasant enough but I was certainly surprised. When I went to pay the bill, it was $142 for a cleaning, without x rays. That is almost double what I paid 6 months prior. I was certainly surprised and felt they should have checked my previous payments and fore warned me of the increase. I am not happy with the sudden change in dentist and fee. Also, the receptionist seemed surprised that I asked for a receipt. I would not recommend this dentist for the way they handled the transition and their high costs.

I called to inquire about a bill as there was no information on the bill other than an amount owed. The staff person I spoke with was very rude and would not provide me with information about the charges. She just wanted me to give her my credit card no. over the phone. I don't dispute that there is a balance due for my son's visit, but I don't pay without a statement of services rendered.

Extremely rude and insulting staff. Very unprofessional environment. Careful, the Dr may not even be in the office when you check in and you won't be told until you have done x-rays and sat in the chair for 45 minutes. This office attempts to split the exam and cleaning into two appointments to maximize your cost

I've been going to Today's Choice Dental for ~7 years because the staff is excellent! They're attentive and caring, and I highly recommend them!

The hygienist was friendly and seemed professional, and concerned when she thought she might be causing pain or discomfort.

The doctor was nice, friendly and seemed to care. The staff worked well as a team and helped me to understand my insurance benefits.
Glad this is where I went

A jaw block would have been nice, considering how long I had to hold my mouth open as wide as was required.
