The car is no longer making the noise it was before repairs were made. My questions were answered and explained to me because I'm not very knowledgeable about cars being a woman. I felt that I could "trust" this garage and the people working on my car and I really did not have any regrets or complaints about them.
Hillside Automotive has always been there when I experience an unexpected problem with my vehicles. For my most recent experience, I drove in Monday morning informing Bob that I have a front problem with son's vehicle. My son lives in Boston and was home on the weekend. While he was home, I drove his car. I noticed a noise in the front end. The front end problem needed immediate attention. Bob was able to provide me transportation and quickly diagnosis the front end problem. The front end had to be repaired immediately. Hillside Automotive quickly attended to my vehicle. The front end noise is no longer. I feel comfortable that my son will be able to travel safely to Boston or where ever young adults travel now a days. Thank you Hillside Automotive for being there for me. AGAIN.
Fixing a leaking head gasket is a major repair. I was impressed and grateful for the outstanding work and professional service. First time I've dealt with Gary and Bob and I would highly recommend them to others.
I brought my work truck in for transmission work. Bob gave me 3 options. explaining the pros and cons of each. We tried the least expensive route. Unfortunately it didn't pan out. Then I decided to have them replace the transmission. The did it quickly , saving my amount of down time. Thanks Gary and Bob.

I'm so glad I discovered Hillside, I think about 5 years ago now. I've never really told them how much I appreciate their services, so now's the time to catch up on that! Here I go: I've got complete piece of mind that my car is in good hands. They are so honest about what needs to be done, and likewise what doesn't need to be fixed. They are always considerate of my budget and discuss with me their findings and the cost before they do any work. They are so helpful in taking the extra time to thoroughly explain to me what is going on with my car in a way I can understand. As I'm really busy these days, I really really appreciate their friendly email reminders about important stuff I should be taking care of -- I eventually heed their advice and bring the car in for the maintenance that it needs -- glad they keep track of it for me! And they now send me an email record of what work I've had done, so that I can save it to my computer for future reference. I appreciate the coupons they have. Obviously I'm happy with the results of their work, as I always go back. Let's see, anything I'm missing? Yup, it also makes me feel pretty good that I'm supporting a local business as well!
Couldn't imagine finding a better garage with kinder, more caring people than Hillside.
