Bluebonnet Dental Care

I was surprised to get a "temp" for my cleaning. She was very good in all ways except for the numbing, which I believe I need so much because of how much exposed root there is -- and because most of the staining occurs on the exposed roots. She gave the shots very smoothly and painlessly, and seemed to put in a lot all over, but it seemed that everything got numb except the teeth. I requested an extra shot for the lower front which she gave, but it never seemed to numb the teeth. She offered more, but my face felt like a balloon already and I declined, suggesting that we just plow on and get it done. I HOPE it was improper placement of the injections and not increasing sensitivity. I do have swelling and soreness at one injection site on the left front lower gum the day after -- nothing serious, which I think tea tree oil will resolve. The cleaning wasn't as thorough as usual because she could see I could hardly stand it. As a rule, in my cleanings, this hasn't been a problem, but I thought I should let you know. She was very good otherwise, and considering how quickly she tried to get me through it, she did a remarkably good job cleaning.
