The wheel/tire does not seem to do that dragging thing now....maybe it was just an underinflated tire. But that rumbling sensation, which appears when I go around corners is still there, whether the VDC button is on or off... I'm just going to ignore it. If its something serious, it will get more pronounced and maybe easier to diagnose. I'm not crazy....
With each interaction with the professionals at McCracken, I am more and more convinced that this is my go-to auto shop in the Boston area. Honest, professional and fair.

I generally have a good experience with the polite, professional staff at McCracken. I brought a tire in to be patched, came in to pick it up, and asked if they could put it on for me. It didn't occur to me to ask if there was an extra charge for that, it seems like something a garage might do as a courtesy for a regular customer who just had a tire patched. I was surprised to get my bill and see a charge for almost 20 dollars. I didn't complain at the time because I didn't ask, but the more I think about it, the more I realize I shouldn't have to. I was hoping that I was developing a friendly relationship with an auto mechanic shop I could trust, but I felt a little taken advantage of.
My parents used to bring their cars here, and I have been doing the same for many years. They are honest, helpful and very nice people!
