I would like to share unlawful business practices of Star Motors. When I came to inspect my car suspension last July I was not given any estimate and was slapped with $40 bill afterwards. As I learned from dealing with other shops in the area (and what Ohio customer protection laws demand) whenever I was asking for service at any other service shop I was always given a price of the service before bringing the car in. This is the way reputable shops work. Customers Beware! Just my 02 cents

Being a daughter of a Certified Mechanic helps me understand parts cost/labor. Most complaints I hear from others is that auto repair places are outrageous on repair costs. However, knowing my parts pricing and the time involved in performing certain repairs helps me make right decisions regarding my own auto needs. Barry and his crew explained the issues with my car in "layman" terms, explained the "whys" of my replacement parts and additionally set me up on a "maintenance schedule" to complete my auto repair needs that would not "break the bank". This is truly appreciated and welcomed. I will be sending people their way often and returning myself. A Good Mechanic is Easy to Find. An Hoenst, Excellent Mechanic is Rare. When you find one, you need to stick beside them. I intend to do just that.
Done in a proficient and timely manner. Mechanic has good knowledge base for recommendations on vehicle maintenace.
