Edgewood Family Dentistry

This is my regular dentist, so I would normally provide a positive review, however, my last visit proved otherwise.
When the technician entered the room, a woman I had not seen previously, she asked me if the TV was not working because I didn't have it on. I told her that I didn't want the TV on, but I was sure it was working. She proceeded to take the remote and turn it on, claiming she wanted to "check and see if it was working." She left the TV on and started working on my filling. I got the feeling she wasn't really paying attention, and it seemed to be taking longer than my other fillings. At one point, she stuck the suction stick in my mouth and jabbed me in the back of the throat. That's when I opened my eyes and noticed she was watching the TV, not me. She even went so far as to participate in Family Feud, verbally providing answers.
Afterwards, I sat up and turned the TV off. The dentist came in and got everything settled, and I got out of there as quickly as possible. It was uncomfortable, insensitive, and unprofessional. I may consider finding another dentist, but I know I will not allow that technician to work on my teeth again

As always, the staff at Edgewood Family Dentistry were very pleasant. I was seen promptly and Kirsten (sp) was very friendly and efficient. Edgewood Family Dentistry stays up to date with the latest equipment and techniques. I always feel comfortable coming here.

Very up to date equipment and friendly makes you feel like part of a family

I am terrified of dentists and I have to say this was one of the most pleasant experiences I have had, especially since it was two root canals! I would recommend this practice wholeheartedly to anyone.
